Just in time for Christmas!
Knit New London is proud to offer a
One Day, Two Part Workshop
with world renowned fiber artist and instructor

Challenge Yourself & take your knitting to the next level!

There is no better gift than the gift of time that is so evident in hand knitted mittens!

You will learn Norwegian mitten construction by knitting a mitten in two colors, circularly on double-pointed needles.  Techniques to be covered include the striped, ribbed cuff, the Norwegian thumb gusset, seam stitches, different patterning for the front and palm, and the pointed tip shaping at the end of the mitten.  Designing will be discussed as well as several options for thumb construction.
Beth will teach new techniques and provide information about this historic mitten. Meet fellow knitters, and learn new skills in a quaint New England town. Bring your family - they can enjoy the many activities this beautiful area provides.
See below for links to our area's attractions.

Beth's classes are noted for their clarity and organization.
Beth is a fantastic teacher; she is gentle and does not mind repeating herself.
She is able to demonstrate to a few students at a time and give one-on-one assistance.

We encourage you to sign up early. Do not miss this unique opportunity to learn from one of the knitting world's most skilled teachers and innovators.
